More great news! A brand-new shop opened up in Glen Allen, Virginia, and we're ecstatic to announce that The Sweet Spot is now exclusively carrying our chocolates! This is the first time that our chocolates have been at a retail shop on the East Coast.

If you happen to be in Glen Allen, and you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth, stop by The Sweet Spot and pick up some Chocolot chocolates!

Chocolot's growing up! We're moving this year from our normal kiosk at Trolley Square to a full retail store at center court!

And even more exciting: we're doing something different this year. We are partnering with Beehive Cheese to turn our store into a cheese and chocolate store! The store will feature our artisan, handmade chocolates and toffees alongside Beehive Cheese's delicious artisan cheeses.

You will be able to buy custom gift baskets of chocolate and cheese. Stop by and say hi! We will be open from December 9th through Christmas Eve, and will be located in the main building, center court, right across from Tabula Rasa.

Now you'll only have to make one stop this holiday season to find locally-produced, artisan products.

Chocolot Artisan Chocolates wins twelve awards at Las Vegas Chocolate Salon

August 31, 2010--Ogden-based Chocolot Artisan Chocolates claimed twelve awards at the 2010 Las Vegas Chocolate Salon, held in August. The annual competition was judged by some of the nation’s top food and journalistic professionals. “We have been working very hard at Chocolot to produce the most beautiful and delicious chocolates and toffee possible, and it’s a fantastic feeling to know that the judges at the Salon agreed,” said Ryan Kendrick, cofounder of Chocolot.

“I’m very excited to have received the awards for Chocolot, especially the awards for Top Artisan Chocolatier and Most Gifted Chocolatier. It’s truly an honor,” said Ruth Kendrick, cofounder of Chocolot.

Chocolot received the following awards:

Gold: Best Milk Chocolate, Top Artisan Chocolatier, Best Traditional Chocolates, Top Toffee in Salon, Best in Salon, Best Comfort Chocolate Product.

Silver: Most Artistic Designs, Best Gift Set, Best Flavored Chocolate, Best Presentation and Packaging, Most Gifted Chocolatier.
